for the week of December 13 through December 19th 2015. This week is about falling in love with your
life and enjoying the craziness around you without going crazy yourself. I chose to ask
what messages are most needed at this time to enable us to get through the last few weeks
of 2015. As such, I have pulled the following cards, starting with The Jack of Hearts.
The Jack of Hearts can often pinpoint a new
focus for our passions, or love at first sight even. This week we are gently reminded to
look inside our own hearts for those things that we feel are missing. Sometimes we get
so into the hectic busyness of the season that we start to neglect ourselves. The Jack
of Hearts is reminding you to take some time for yourself and make sure all your own heart
based needs are met.
Are you feeling lonely? Make that phone call, not just a text or social
media message a real honest to goodness voice call. Better yet, get together with friends
at your favorite spot and just enjoy each others company. Next up is the Three of Diamonds. With so
much going on at the moment we can often find ourselves pulled in several different directions
all at the same time.
Knowing full well that others are experiencing the same thing can
cause us to try and handle it all by ourselves, so as not to be a burden. This is going to
bring on mental exhaustion, feelings of loneliness and major full on burnout. You don't have
to do it all alone, ask for help when you need it. Remember, work shared is work halved.
Finally like an angel swooping in to bring
peace of mind and self assurance, the Jack of Spades is here. Now spades are often the
cards in cartomancy that highlight challenges. Spades to me, are associated with the element
of Air which in turn is associated with the mind and how we think. Where the Jack of hearts
can speak to us of how we feel, the Jack of Spades is telling us to watch our thoughts.
At this time of year we feel encouraged to give and say yes to everyone elses needs.
The Jack of Spades is telling us it is OK.
To say yes to ourselves as well. It is of
vital importance to make sure your inner life is well looked after not just for you but
also so that you can be of better service to others in a much more balanced way without
